About HikeTrack
HikeTrack is an Android app for hiking and outdoor activities, developed around a simple goal: keeping the useful tools for preparation, tracking and field information in one place.
Plan
Maps, offline areas, 2D/3D planning, multi-day stages, bivouacs, shelters, water points and protected areas help prepare an outing.
Track
The app records GPS tracks and displays distance, duration, speed, altitude and elevation data.
Understand the terrain
Waypoints, nature POIs, hiking information, peak recognition and AR viewing add context to the map.
Project status
HikeTrack is still in testing. A public Google Play release is being prepared, and some modules, especially group features, are still being refined.
